Adecco is hiring immediately for a Corporate Meetings & Events Planner with a local client in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is $37.00 - $41.00 per hour.

This position will support the planning and execution of a broad range of internal and external programs including, customer programs, executive meetings, leadership events, recognition initiatives, and facility grand openings. The ideal candidate is an experienced event professional who can manage multiple priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver exceptional event experiences with attention to detail and operational excellence.

Success in this role requires strong project management skills, experience coordinating complex event logistics, budget management capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute business objectives

  • Manage detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and event production schedules

  • Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including venue coordination, catering, audiovisual, production registration, and attendee communications

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, hotels, and service providers

  • Support executive meetings, including VIP attendee management and onsite event execution

  • Develop event budget estimates and maintain budget tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting

  • Partner with facilities, communications, production, and other internal teams to ensure event delivery

  • Support in-person, virtual, and hybrid event experiences as required

  • Maintain event documentation, planning tools, and operational processes

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and identify opportunities for improvement and scalability

  • Follow established processes and best practices to ensure consistency, repeatability, and operational excellence

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of corporate meetings and events experience

  • Proven experience planning and executing corporate events with 100+ attendees

  • Experience with executive functions, customer programs, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong budget management, forecasting, and reporting experience

  • Experience managing vendors, venues, hotels, and production partners

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize workstreams and drive execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups

 Preferred

  • Experience supporting virtual and hybrid events

  • Experience with Cvent or similar event management platforms

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation

 



Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
