CNC Operator

Adecco is hiring immediately for a dedicated CNC Operator at a reputable local client in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to support precision manufacturing initiatives with a leading organization.

As a CNC Operator, you will be critical to producing high-quality magnetic components and metal parts by setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery. This role demands attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products meet exact engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Set up, operate, and oversee CNC mills, lathes, and similar equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing processes

·         Load raw materials, make necessary adjustments to machine settings, and perform offsets as required

·         Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers to accurately produce parts

·         Inspect finished components with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools to ensure quality and accuracy

·         Perform basic troubleshooting, tool changes, and routine maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         1–2 years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools

·         Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and precision orientation

·         Basic knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and CNC controls

·         Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
