  • Location: Whitsett  North Carolina

  • Duration: Starting ASAP – 08/31/2027

  • Pay Rate Based on skills and experience $22.00 - $23.00

  • Hours: Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 12:00AM

 Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to support the clients manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift. This role requires proficiency with CNC machines, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines, adjusting tooling and work offsets as needed.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to produce parts within required tolerances.

  • Conduct quality inspections utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

  • Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

  • Make machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, including lubricating and coolant top-offs.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area, performing daily equipment cleaning and chip removal.

  • Use DNC and SPC databases to track and document production data.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED; technical certification/education is a plus.

  • 1-3 years of relevant CNC machining experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.

  • Proficiency with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

  • Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and willingness to work overtime as needed.

  • Familiarity with Oracle systems is a plus.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
