CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Position Details

• Job Title: CNC Operator

• Assignment Type: Temporary

• Shift: 2nd Shift

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm-10:30pm

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience +$1.50 shift premium

Job Overview

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-quality components according to specifications. This position involves preparing machines for production, monitoring operations, performing quality checks, and ensuring finished products meet company standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes

• Load materials and tooling into machines

• Monitor machine operations and production output

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents

• Maintain quality standards and production requirements

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make necessary adjustments

• Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Trade school certificate or diploma preferred

• Previous CNC machine operating experience required

• Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Safety Glasses Required

• PPE must be worn at the time of interview to participate in a facility tour.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
