CNC Milling Machinist – 1st Shift (Direct Hire)

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Warren, MI. Key Responsibilities
Perform complex machine setups, edits, and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.
Machine precision aerospace components while ensuring all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Make program and machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and vernier instruments.
Collaborate with engineering on material conditions, tooling, part positioning, and process improvements.
Identify and report equipment, material, or process issues to supervision.
Maintain a safe, organized work area while following all quality and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines.
Experience with Fanuc controls; willingness to cross-train on additional equipment and machining operations.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Basic CNC programming knowledge or willingness to learn.
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to comply with FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements for this safety-sensitive position.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
