CNC Milling Machinist – 1st Shift (Direct Hire)

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Warren, MI. Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex machine setups, edits, and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.

• Machine precision aerospace components while ensuring all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Make program and machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.

• Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.

• Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and vernier instruments.

• Collaborate with engineering on material conditions, tooling, part positioning, and process improvements.

• Identify and report equipment, material, or process issues to supervision.

• Maintain a safe, organized work area while following all quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

• At least 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines.

• Experience with Fanuc controls; willingness to cross-train on additional equipment and machining operations.

• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC).

• Basic CNC programming knowledge or willingness to learn.

• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to comply with FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements for this safety-sensitive position.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
