CNC Machinist – 3rd Shift (Direct Hire)

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Warren, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing company producing precision components for both commercial and military aerospace programs.

We're looking for a skilled machinist with experience operating multi-axis CNC equipment, working with exotic metals, and maintaining tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift - Sun - Thurs 11 pm - 7 am

• Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines.

• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously within manufacturing cells when applicable.

• Machine precision aerospace components from Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and other hard metals.

• Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, customer specifications, and CNC programs.

• Utilize Fanuc controls to make program offsets and machine adjustments.

• Load parts onto fixtures and safely operate hoists to position large workpieces.

• Read tool sheets and perform tooling setup for production runs.

• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and swing gauges.

• Operate right-angle heads as required.

• Apply GD&T principles to maintain tight tolerances measured in thousandths of an inch.

• Follow all quality, safety, and production standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred.

• Experience machining components for major aerospace OEMs is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, machine setup, and Fanuc controls.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, operation sheets, and CNC programs.

• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and maintaining close tolerances.

• Strong understanding of GD&T.

• Ability to work with large aerospace components and stand for extended periods.

• Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
