The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemistry and polymer chemistry, hands-on manufacturing or process development experience, and experience working with UPLC and/or IC columns.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and optimize polymer chemistry processes and chromatography column conditions to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, yield, and consistency.

  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day troubleshooting support to manufacturing teams and help resolve process-related issues in real time.

  • Collaborate with production operators, engineers, quality teams, and R&D to address process deviations and maintain efficient production.

  • Support the implementation and scale-up of new processes, component systems, part changes, and manufacturing protocols.

  • Perform and support in-process testing and evaluate product and process performance.

  • Generate, review, and update batch records, SOPs, technical summaries, and other manufacturing documentation.

  • Support the investigation, documentation, and resolution of production deviations.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support data-driven process improvements.

  • Develop and deliver training for manufacturing operators and technicians on polymer chemistry processes, column packing and testing, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert in polymer chemistry and provide guidance to manufacturing teams.

  • Partner with R&D to support the successful transfer of new processes into manufacturing and provide recommendations regarding scalability and manufacturability.

  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on safety, yield, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable SOPs, safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
