Certified Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) for a temporary contract opportunity in New Port Richey, FL. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient support in a clinical setting, assisting with patient intake, clinical procedures, and follow-up care coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent bedside manner, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

 

Location: New Port Richey, FL
Contract Duration: Minimum 3-6 month temp/contract role (possible extension or temp-hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $24.34/hr.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs accurately.

• Perform blood draws and assist with laboratory procedures.

• Administer injections as directed by clinical providers.

• Complete follow-up calls regarding laboratory and radiology results.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.

• Support providers and clinical staff with daily patient care activities.

• Follow established safety, privacy, and healthcare compliance procedures.

 

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.

• Previous medical assistant experience in a clinical setting.

• Experience with patient rooming, vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy/lab draws.
