Care Coordinator

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Care Coordinator in Kissimmee, FL. This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type:                    3+-month contract, opportunity for extension!
Schedule:            Monday through Friday, 8am and 5pm
Pay:                      $19.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator:

• Manage patient referrals between care providers, specialists, clinics and insurance companies

• Ensure patients receive the appropriate care while meeting insurance and healthcare requirements

• Obtain insurance authorizations

• Receive and make calls to patients

• Process faxes and upload into EMR

• Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Patient Care Coordinator:

• High School Graduate or GED

• Patient care experience - 3 years preferred

• Previous healthcare referral background

• Experience with eCW EMR - 3 years preferred

• Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred

• Clear, compassionate, and professional verbal communication

• Ability to interact with others, both in person and through phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
