Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Attleboro, MA to fill a Calibration Technician on 1st shift. This is a direct hire position and the hours will be 7AM-3:30 PM M-F with a pay range of $55,000-$75,000 depending on skills and experience.

Position Summary:
The Industrial Calibrator is responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of electrical instrumentation and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, maintain and repair electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment used in the manufacturing of clad metal strip products.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operating systems as necessary
- Observe, monitor and record if necessary status of utility equipment
- Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Assist operators in routine maintenance procedures.
- Maintains records of scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures.
- Performs a variety of work in the maintenance.
- Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping in work areas.
- Other duties as required.
- High School/Trade School
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Electrician license preferred
- Shop math
- Must be capable of understanding basic electronics, reading prints, and work instruction, calibrating units from test procedures
- Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment may be required.
- May be required to drive fork truck, climb ladders, and work in small areas.
- Must be available for call-ins and required overtime to support critical situations.
