Buyer / Purchasing Agent

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Buyer / Purchasing Agent positions in Buffalo Grove, IL. • Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders to support production and operational needs

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers while negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules

• Maintain procurement records, track supplier performance, and monitor inventory requirements

• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve vendor issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Minimum 4 years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Oracle

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience preferred

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
