This is an opportunity for an experienced, California-licensed LCSW who is fluent in English and Spanish to combine direct patient care with clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship, and professional development.

Your Impact

As a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, you will serve as a clinical leader, mentor, educator, and behavioral health resource while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.

You will:

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs) and junior clinicians.

• Help lead a behavioral health fellowship program focused on developing bilingual and community-focused clinicians.

• Co-facilitate weekly educational seminars, case discussions, and clinical learning opportunities.

• Provide behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, and care coordination.

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral health interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

• Provide services through both in-person and telehealth settings.

• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Serve as a behavioral health subject-matter expert and clinical consultant across the organization.

• Support clinical quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.

• Mentor emerging clinicians and support their professional development.

• Participate in interdisciplinary consultation, case conferences, and ongoing clinical education.

Clinical Practice

Provide compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services while building strong therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Approaches may include:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Motivational Interviewing

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

• Solution-Focused Therapy

• Seeking Safety

• Other evidence-based behavioral health interventions

You’ll work with patients across the lifespan and support individuals and families experiencing behavioral health, substance use, and social or economic factors that may affect health and well-being.

Clinical Supervision & Education

A significant component of this position is helping develop the next generation of behavioral health professionals.

You will:

• Provide supervision to ASWs and junior clinicians in accordance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences standards.

• Mentor clinicians pursuing independent licensure.

• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development.

• Co-facilitate weekly training seminars and case discussions.

• Share clinical expertise through consultation and interdisciplinary education.

• Support clinical quality initiatives and implementation of behavioral health best practices.

Team Leadership

In addition to clinical supervision, you will help support the overall effectiveness and development of the behavioral health team.

Responsibilities may include:

• Recruiting, onboarding, and developing clinical staff.

• Supporting workforce planning, scheduling, and team operations.

• Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback.

• Promoting a supportive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.

• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience qualifying you to provide clinical supervision.

• Fluency in English and Spanish.

• Ability to provide behavioral health assessments and interventions in Spanish.

• Current BLS certification.

• Strong interest in clinical supervision, teaching, mentorship, and clinician development.

Preferred

• Experience in integrated behavioral health or primary care.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations and individuals facing behavioral health, substance use, and social or economic challenges.

• Experience supervising pre-licensed clinicians.

• Experience with EPIC or another electronic health record system.

• Experience providing culturally responsive, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.
