Adecco is currently hiring Auto Packers in Southington, CT for an overnight manufacturing opportunity!

If you have experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse operations and are looking for a consistent three-day work schedule, this could be a great opportunity.

In this position, you will assist with automated packaging operations, inspect finished products, and help ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining established quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment according to established procedures.

• Package finished products according to production requirements and quality specifications.

• Inspect products for visible defects, packaging accuracy, and overall quality.

• Load packaging materials and supplies into production equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance and report machine malfunctions or production concerns.

• Follow written work instructions, packaging procedures, and safety requirements.

• Accurately complete production documentation as required.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Support daily production goals while maintaining established quality standards.

• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and supervisory personnel.

• Perform additional related production and packaging duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Basic reading, math, and communication skills necessary to perform packaging duties.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate automated packaging equipment.

• Ability to work the scheduled overnight shifts.

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse operations.

• Experience operating or monitoring automated production equipment.

• Familiarity with quality inspection and packaging procedures.

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position involves working in an active manufacturing environment with automated packaging equipment.

Job duties may include:

• Standing and walking for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

• Performing repetitive packaging and material handling tasks.

• Handling, sorting, and packaging manufactured products.

• Bending, reaching, and moving materials as required.

• Working near operating manufacturing and packaging machinery.

• Following established safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Shift: Overnight

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 PM–Tuesday, 7:00 AM

• Tuesday: 7:00 PM–Wednesday, 7:00 AM

• Wednesday: 7:00 PM–Thursday, 7:00 AM

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week, before any unpaid meal periods.
