Adecco is assisting in the recruitment process for an experienced Assistant Chef in Guánica, Puerto Rico. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences in a resort and hospitality environment.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional culinary training preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, preferably in a resort, hotel, or multi-outlet food and beverage operation.
- Experience in both à la carte restaurant service and high-volume banquet production.
- Knowledge of fine dining techniques, menu execution, and food presentation.
- Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Full availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations across multiple dining outlets and banquet events.
- Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Supervise, coach, and develop culinary team members.
- Support banquet and special event food production and execution.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance standards.
- Assist with inventory management, food cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Help deliver outstanding guest satisfaction through consistent culinary excellence.
Pay Details: $0.01 per hour
