Key Responsibilities
  • Material Assembly: Assemble composite, electrometric, and electronic materials using complex fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Fabrication & Layup: Perform vacuum bagging, mold preparation, and curing processes for composite parts in the autoclave area.
  • Wiring & Soldering: Solder and connect wires, terminals, and electronic subassemblies according to blueprints and schematics.
  • Finishing & Adjustments: Drill close-tolerance holes, countersink for rivets, mix chemical adhesives/RTV, and sand composite materials.
  • Quality & Testing: Inspect finished components and run functional tests to ensure compliance with aerospace safety standards.
  • Documentation: Record data, track materials for traceability, and use computer scanners for work travelers. 

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Experience: Prior assembly experience (1 to 3 months or more), preferably working with composites or electronics in an aerospace setting. 
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret English blueprints, schematics, and work instructions; proficiency with basic measuring tools like calipers. 
  • Physical Demads: Ability to stand, reach, use hands, and lift items ranging from 10 to 50 pounds depending on the specific assembly cell.


Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
