The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Material Assembly: Assemble composite, electrometric, and electronic materials using complex fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.
- Fabrication & Layup: Perform vacuum bagging, mold preparation, and curing processes for composite parts in the autoclave area.
- Wiring & Soldering: Solder and connect wires, terminals, and electronic subassemblies according to blueprints and schematics.
- Finishing & Adjustments: Drill close-tolerance holes, countersink for rivets, mix chemical adhesives/RTV, and sand composite materials.
- Quality & Testing: Inspect finished components and run functional tests to ensure compliance with aerospace safety standards.
- Documentation: Record data, track materials for traceability, and use computer scanners for work travelers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Prior assembly experience (1 to 3 months or more), preferably working with composites or electronics in an aerospace setting.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret English blueprints, schematics, and work instructions; proficiency with basic measuring tools like calipers.
- Physical Demads: Ability to stand, reach, use hands, and lift items ranging from 10 to 50 pounds depending on the specific assembly cell.
