Metal Handler – 2nd Shift
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $21.25/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Metal Handler to support metal finishing operations and ensure all parts meet quality and ISO standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and hands-on manufacturing experience or interest.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform metal finishing processes including deburring, grinding, flattening, time-saving, blasting, and in-process cleaning of surgical cases and trays
Inspect parts to blueprint specifications and perform visual inspections for burrs and defects
Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately
Follow all company policies, procedures, and ISO standards
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment
Troubleshoot basic issues related to equipment, tooling, and processes
Additional Duties
Assemble work instruments as needed
Work overtime when required
Assist supervisors and support other departments as needed
Train other employees once competency in the role is demonstrated
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
0–3 years of manufacturing or metal handling experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
Occasional lifting and carrying of 45–50 lbs
Frequent pushing and pulling of 20–25 lbs
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and use of hand tools or machinery
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production setting
Moderate to high noise levels in some areas
Pay Details: $21.25 per week
