Location: Torrance,CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembler/Packers to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing, assembling, and packaging products according to customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
Essential Responsibilities
Product Inspection & Order Review
- Review work orders and packing instructions prior to processing products.
- Verify part numbers, product configurations, and quantities.
- Inspect products for defects, damage, or discrepancies before packing.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Picking & Assembly Duties
- Prepare products for packaging and shipment.
- Inspect die-cut components and remove excess material, debris, and other unwanted particles.
- Inspect slit rolls for contamination, strings, loose particles, and foreign materials.
- Clean products as required using approved methods and procedures.
- Sort, organize, and group products according to work order specifications.
- Cut and prepare components as directed by production instructions.
Packing & Shipping Preparation
- Package products in the appropriate bags, boxes, or containers based on customer requirements and order specifications.
- Verify quantities and product accuracy before final packaging.
- Label cartons and containers with correct shipping and product information.
- Confirm inventory counts when materials are pulled from inventory.
- Prepare shipments according to shipping instructions.
- Stage completed orders on carts for shipment and delivery.
- Ensure cartons are reviewed and approved prior to sealing.
Additional Duties
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or process issues immediately to supervision.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse, production, and packaging duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills required (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, packaging, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs. as needed.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
