Responsibilities:
Monitor supplier performance, service levels, and product availability across Fresh Meat categories
Support Sourcing Manager in the development of supplier performance/continuous improvement targets and related scorecards
Administration of supplier assessments, score cards, and other analytics to manage supplier performance
Prepare planning guide to facilitate the completion of the negotiation and support Sourcing Manager where needed
General day-to-day sourcing analysis and cost benefit tracking
Conduct opportunity assessments, benchmarking, and cost modeling to develop different award optimization scenarios to minimize total cost of ownership
Identify total internal costs associated with supplier price, delivery, operations and quality
Identify supply risks, gaps in fill rate, and inventory flow issues; escalate as needed
Conduct root cause analysis on supply disruptions (forecasting, capacity, logistics, supplier constraints)
Support execution of sourcing processes, including supplier onboarding.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with data analysis and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar platforms).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with data modelling, cost analysis, or performance analytics
Exposure to data governance, data management, or reporting frameworks
Experience in direct product sourcing, supply chain, and/or category management (Meat/Seafood experience preferred)
Strong analytical skills (Excel, project tracking and reporting tools a plus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with perishable categories (e.g., Fresh Meat, cold chain, shrink considerations)
Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and inventory management concepts

Pay Details: $39.13 per hour
