Accounts Payable Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Accounts Payable Specialist positions in Newport News, VA. • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST

• Weekly paycheck

• Pay: $22.30/hour

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Review, code, validate, and enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system

• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies while collaborating with vendors and internal teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience

• Experience with high-volume invoice processing and data entry

• Purchase Order experience, including 2-way and/or 3-way invoice matching

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills

• High School Diploma or GED required

Important: This is a 6-month project assignment with no planned conversion to permanent employment. Candidates should be comfortable accepting a short-term project-based role.

Pay Details: $22.30 per hour
