Adecco is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in South Burlington, Vermont. This is a full-time opportunity with a well-established company offering a consistent weekday schedule and a professional work environment.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for supporting the accounting department by processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, responding to vendor inquiries, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and review incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers for accuracy, authorization, and supporting documentation.

  • Assign appropriate general ledger account codes and enter invoice information into the accounting system for timely payment processing.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, payment terms, and account balances in a professional and timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate and organized Accounts Payable records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Assist with audit preparation and support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.

  • Research and help resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth Accounts Payable operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience or general knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Demonstrated accountability and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $20.40 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Details: $20.40 per hour
