Pay: $20.20 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sample Management Technician to join our laboratory operations team in Middleton, WI. In this role, you will support laboratory operations by receiving, processing, tracking, storing, and managing samples and laboratory standards while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment while collaborating with scientists and laboratory staff.
Responsibilities
Receive, log, label, inventory, and track laboratory samples and standards.
Coordinate sample transport, storage, retrieval, check-out, and disposal according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure sample integrity throughout the handling process.
Communicate sample status updates to laboratory personnel.
Assist laboratory staff with sample handling procedures and ensure compliance with SOPs.
Complete investigation reports, deviation documentation, and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
Review laboratory requests to ensure compliance with applicable procedures.
Participate in SOP training and assist with regulatory and storage requirement compliance.
Respond to environmental monitoring alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sample management, laboratory support, inventory control, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic understanding of inventory management and sample tracking.
Familiarity with laboratory documentation and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred
Experience working in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
Experience writing or reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or other regulated laboratory environments.

Pay Details: $20.20 per hour
