Adecco Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a patient-focused specialty pharmacy team in Shepherdsville, KY. 📍 Location: Shepherdsville, KY (Hybrid)

💲 Pay Rate: $60/hour

🕒 Schedule:

• Training: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST

• After Training: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CST

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Patient Care

✅ Conduct comprehensive medication and pharmacotherapy reviews

✅ Counsel patients on new therapies, treatment expectations, side effects, and medication administration

✅ Screen for drug interactions, compliance concerns, and opportunities to optimize therapy

✅ Document clinical interventions and recommendations within patient records

✅ Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and home health teams to coordinate patient care

✅ Provide education and support for specialty medications and disease-state management

✅ Participate in REMS programs and maintain compliance with all applicable protocols

✅ Serve as a trusted clinical liaison for patients and healthcare providers

✅ Support patients through personalized care solutions and ongoing treatment management

Pharmacy Operations

✅ Verify prescription order accuracy and final product dispensing

✅ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy regulations

✅ Assist with pharmacy claim adjudication and reimbursement processes

✅ Monitor quality assurance standards and hazardous waste management

✅ Supervise pharmacy technicians and support workflow efficiency

✅ Report adverse events and product quality concerns in accordance with regulatory requirements

✅ Participate in on-call coverage as assigned

Professional Development

✅ Maintain continuing education requirements and active licensure

✅ Stay current on clinical best practices and specialty pharmacy advancements

✅ Support the development and training of pharmacy staff

✅ Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and exceptional patient service

Qualifications

✔ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited School of Pharmacy

✔ Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing (Required)

✔ Licensed in good standing and eligible for additional state licensure as needed

✔ 2–3+ years of direct patient counseling experience

✔ 3–5+ years of pharmacy operations, clinical oversight, and patient care experience

✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills

✔ Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, regulatory requirements, and quality standards

✔ Experience with sterile technique and pharmacy quality control practices

Preferred

⭐ BCOP Certification or willingness to obtain BCOP certification when eligible

⭐ Specialty pharmacy and oncology experience

⭐ Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Pay Details: $60.00 per hour
