Nurse Practitioner

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on comprehensive patient care for individuals of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness visits, and post-hospital follow-up. You will work closely with a dedicated Medical Assistant in a collaborative clinical environment using Epic EMR.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner seeking a rewarding outpatient assignment with a collaborative healthcare team, predictable weekday schedule, and travel support for qualified candidates.

Employment Type: Temporary (3–6 Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $72.37/hr.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
Obtain and document detailed medical histories.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
Conduct Annual Wellness Visits.
Complete post-hospital discharge follow-up appointments.
Manage patient communications and clinical messages through the Epic in-basket.
Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active California Nurse Practitioner license.
Board Eligible or Board Certified.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Current DEA registration.
Minimum of one year of outpatient or clinic experience preferred.
