Job Description Summary

 

The Material Handler operates within and supports receiving, shipping, warehousing, reverse logistics and manufacturing

replenishment operations. The Material Handler is responsible for prompt, timely and accurate material receipt, storage,

picking, packaging, production line replenishment and shipping operations to include reverse logistics vendor coordination and

scrapping activities. Material Handlers will use warehouse management, commercial software applications and shipping

systems to include operation of material handling equipment to effect material flow and disposition activities directly

supporting Aristocrat’s Global Distribution and Manufacturing Operations.

 

Job Requirements

  • Follows established workflows in determining the proper disposition of materials once received.

  • Performs 1st level research on discrepancies.

  • Corrects problems where possible; escalates others.

  • Researches receiving data, parts numbers and related items on the computer, when an inventory discrepancy is discovered

  • This position requires the employee to perform 100% incoming inspection on all RMA materials, basic RMA discrepancy troubleshooting, scrapping and final disposition of materials in accordance to established work flows.

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred one year of experience in a manufacturing related industry, warehouse environment or its equivalent

  • Must be flexible to work extended hours and weekends when necessary

  • Must have basic mathematic, literacy and data processing equipment software / application skills

Skills

  • Must be able to use standard hand tools such as socket wrenches, screwdrivers and nut drivers

  • Familiarity with electronic circuits and components (AC/DC), and standard industry workmanship practices is preferred.

  • Basic computer & electronics troubleshooting experience is preferred.

  • Ability to operate testing equipment and take basic measurements.

  • Familiarity with ESD practices, lean manufacturing and 6S techniques is preferred.

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced team work environment and can work independently as needed.

  • Able to understand and follow ISO/Quality standards

  • Must by a highly responsible and detail oriented individual with an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the regulatory implications of this position.

 

Environmental Demands

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish colors and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is occasionally required to lift, move, and control up to 500 pounds with the aid of dollies or machine carts. The employee must be able to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds short distances with/without mechanical aid and frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds.

  • Employee must also wear appropriate personal protection equipment, such as, steel toe shoes where applicable.

  • Must be able to comfortably maneuver around an office or production environment

  • Must be able to work in hot or cold climatic environments and conditions, in and out-doors

  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate office data processing equipment / devices, computer systems, and operate material handling tools and equipment

  • Must be able to stand and / or walk through entire shift

  • Must be able to pull or push parts / material on a pallet jack for extended distances

 



Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
