What You'll Do
- Set up and operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Read blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain quality standards and production records
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and hand tools as required
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Technical or trade school training
- Welding experience or certification
- 3+ years of machine operating experience
