Opportunity Overview:
Adecco is partnering with a small, established manufacturing company in Auburn, NY that is seeking an entry or junior-level Machine Operator. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with starting pay of $18/hour+, depending on experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical ability and 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, machine shop or related environment who is looking to learn, develop their skills, and grow with the company long-term.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto CNC machines and other equipment

• Assist machine operators with basic tasks and production needs

• Move materials, parts, and finished products throughout the shop

• Perform simple quality checks and ensure parts meet basic specifications

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating processes (SOPs)

• Support general shop tasks as needed in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, machine shop, or a mechanical environment preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Interest in learning machining or growing into a more advanced role over time

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
