Job description
Machine Operators are responsible for the packaging, labeling, and visual quality inspection of all products produced on their production line. Machine Operators will also handle line start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Previous experience of machine operation or packaging is helpful.

Requirements:

  • Must have excellent attendance and work records

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Manufacturing experience a plus

  • Capable of multitasking

  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required

  • Must have mechanical skills to troubleshoot and or make adjustments as necessary

Work Pace: Fast- Must maintain pace with the lines; consistent pace is necessary
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Promotes and incorporates food safety and personal safety

  • Maintains high level of quality control

  • Counting and packaging finished products

  • Ensure quality standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded

  • Preventing contamination

  • Cleaning work area including equipment

  • Complete all projects and duties as assigned

  • Monitor packaging machine during the process in order to identify and correct malfunctions

  • Meet or exceed efficiencies while communicating inefficiencies

  • Regulate machine flow and speed

  • Consistently able to changeover between lines in allowed standard times (sanitation and changeover)

  • Utilize ERP system to complete jobs

  • Take lead and provide direction to team while producing, changing over and cleaning.

  • All other duties assigned

First Shift Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week



Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
