Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Grinding Lead to join a reputable client in Wheeling, IL. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and support manufacturing operations within a dynamic team environment.
About the Role:
As a Grinding Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership within the manufacturing department to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards. Your responsibilities include coordinating daily workflows, overseeing product quality, and supporting the department supervisor in operational management. You will motivate and guide team members to achieve daily production targets, maintaining a high-performance environment.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required
· 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
· Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments with accuracy
· Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
· Strong communication skills—clear and effective in reading, writing, and conveying information
· Capable of making quality control decisions during production processes
· Proven ability to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards
· Willingness to work across different department areas and learn new skills
Schedule:
· First shift: 6:45 am – 3:05 pm

Pay Details: $19.50 to $24.00 per hour
