General Laborer – Landscaping, Public Works
For a local Public Works Department, Adecco is recruiting a General Laborer focused on landscaping and grounds maintenance. In this role, you will support the upkeep of public lots and outdoor areas through tasks such as weed eating, trimming, pulling weeds, picking up trash, and clearing poison ivy. The work is performed outdoors and involves consistent physical activity throughout the shift. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Adecco coordinates this opportunity on behalf of its client and provides access to benefits after your first paycheck.
Benefits
Hourly pay rate of $13.50 per hour for performing general labor landscaping duties for the Public Works Department.

What You Will Do?
Perform weed eating using appropriate equipment to maintain grass and vegetation along public lots and designated outdoor areas.
Carry out trimming of grass, shrubs, and other vegetation to keep public spaces neat, clean, and properly maintained.
Pull and remove weeds from landscaped areas, sidewalks, and public grounds to support ongoing vegetation control and site appearance.
Pick up trash and debris in public lots and surrounding areas to maintain clean, safe, and orderly outdoor environments for community use.
Clear out poison ivy and similar unwanted vegetation from assigned areas while following instructions and designated procedures provided by supervisors.
Your Skills
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor general labor tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout scheduled shifts.
Ability to safely operate weed eating and trimming equipment, following directions and basic safety practices required for landscaping tools.
Ability to work reliably during early morning hours from Monday to Thursday and Friday as scheduled for this Public Works assignment.
Attention to detail when pulling weeds and picking up trash, ensuring public lots and outdoor spaces are kept orderly and well maintained.
Ability to follow instructions from Public Works supervisors and work cooperatively with others to complete assigned landscaping tasks efficiently.

Pay Details: $13.50 per hour
