Location: Gurnee, IL
Pay: $19.68–$35.43 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then rotate)

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operators / Production Associates to join a leading plastics manufacturing facility in Gurnee, IL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, consistent full-time hours, and long-term career potential.
The ideal candidate has forklift experience, enjoys working in a manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a forklift to move finished goods, raw materials, and pallets throughout the facility.
Inspect plastic parts during production to ensure they meet quality standards.
Pack finished products into shipping containers and prepare them for shipment.
Print and apply shipping labels using warehouse systems.
Stack finished products on pallets and transport materials to designated areas.
Perform visual inspections for product defects including discoloration, contamination, burns, short shots, and other quality issues.
Accurately record production and quality information as required.
Assist with machine operation and perform secondary production tasks as needed.
Sort and rework non-conforming products while following quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE.
Work collaboratively with production, quality, shipping, and warehouse teams.
Complete all required training and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous forklift experience required; certification is a plus.
Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or other warehouse systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift.
Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
Good manual dexterity and color perception for quality inspections.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
Work 2 days
Off 2 days
Work 3 days
Schedule repeats every two weeks
Built-in overtime opportunities with every other weekend off.

Pay Details: $19.68 to $35.43 per hour
