Role: Fiber Operator

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: M-F 1st shift 7am-3pm (couple months timeline, possibly as long as half a year)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fiber optic assembly operations according to work instructions, drawings, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Operate production tools, fixtures, and equipment used for fiber optic connectivity manufacturing, including stripping, cleaving, ribbonizing, polishing, curing, cleaning, inspection, and testing equipment.
  • Follow production schedules and priorities to meet daily and weekly output targets.
  • Follow cleanroom or controlled-area practices when applicable, including proper handling, cleaning, and contamination-control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.

Required Qualifications

  • Good eyesight
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small, delicate components
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
