Electro-Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift) – Guilford/Branford, CT

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a growing manufacturer in the Guilford/Branford area. This first-shift opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in machine assembly who has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical wiring skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment. Candidates with a working knowledge of IT systems and technology are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment according to assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Perform machine assembly, setup, and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and assembly-related issues.
• Assist with machine maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Complete basic wiring of electrical components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electro-mechanical or machine assembly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with machine assembly and troubleshooting experience.
• Basic electrical wiring skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and basic IT concepts.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
