EDM Machinist – 2nd Shift (Direct Hire)

Warren, MI | up to $30/hr plus a 12% shift premium and a $3,000 sign on bonus | Great Benefits | Overtime Available

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is seeking an EDM Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Warren, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing company producing precision components for both commercial and military aerospace programs.

We're looking for a motivated machinist with experience in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) or other high-precision manufacturing environments. If you have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow, we'd love to hear from you!

Schedule

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday

  • 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

  • Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate EDM machines to produce precision aerospace components.

  • Read and interpret operation sheets, parameter sheets, blueprints, and work instructions.

  • Set machine parameters to achieve required quality standards and successful LCS testing.

  • Properly set up parts and fixtures to ensure accurate and efficient machining.

  • Inspect completed parts using gauges and precision measuring equipment.

  • Verify components meet customer specifications and quality requirements.

  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

  • Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of EDM machining.

  • Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, parameter sheets, and technical documentation.

  • Experience setting up EDM machines and adjusting machine parameters.

  • Proficiency using gauges and precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and machining techniques.
