CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: $22.00-$27.00/hour (Based on Experience)

We are seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators for a leading medical device manufacturer in Southington, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment producing precision medical device components used around the world.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision medical components.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Load raw materials, change tooling as needed, and monitor machine performance.
• Deburr and inspect finished components.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following GMP, ISO, and company quality standards.
• Communicate production concerns to supervisors and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Familiarity with ISO or GMP manufacturing environments.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
