Material Handler

Location: Berlin, CT
Pay Rate: $16.94 per hour

Position Overview

Adecco is seeking dependable and motivated Material Handlers for a fast-paced warehouse and logistics operation in Berlin, CT. This position is responsible for unloading shipments, moving inventory throughout the facility, scanning products into inventory, and supporting multiple warehouse functions. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety.

This role may support several departments, including Shipping & Receiving, Packout, Kitting, Deboxing, Inventory, and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks using pallet jacks.

• Move boxes and pallets to designated warehouse locations.

• Open boxes and remove products, accessories, and packaging materials for processing.

• Scan products into inventory using handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.

• Pick, stage, package, and prepare materials for production or shipment.

• Support Shipping & Receiving, Packout, Kitting, Deboxing, Inventory, and Quality Control operations as needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory and production records.

• Meet daily productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.

• Experience using pallet jacks and handheld RF scanners is a plus.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout the workday.

• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse environment.

Compensation

• Pay: $16.94 per hour

Pay Details: $16.94 per hour
