Office Assistant
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Clerk / Warehouse Office Assistant to support daily warehouse and office operations. This role is responsible for assisting with receiving processes, order preparation, customer returns, shipping documentation, truck scheduling, inventory-related administrative tasks, and general office support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls regarding pickups and provide excellent customer service.

  • Process and document customer returns.

  • Organize and prepare warehouse orders with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Assist with receiving processes, label printing, sorting, and load audits.

  • Prepare correspondence, shipping documents, receipts, statements, and other records.

  • Research and resolve order discrepancies, including mis-picks.

  • Review and proofread records and forms for accuracy.

  • Maintain organized filing systems and records.

  • Perform daily ship-date processing.

  • Prepare and process post office and international orders as needed.

  • Address, stamp, and sort outgoing packages and mail.

  • Prepare truck orders and shipping documentation.

  • Schedule trucks and coordinate transportation needs.

  • Answer and direct incoming calls and relay messages.

  • Copy, scan, and maintain business documents.

  • Order office and warehouse supplies as needed.

  • Support the Warehouse Office Manager with daily administrative duties.

  • Assist with special projects and additional assignments.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Minimum one year of warehouse clerk, warehouse office, logistics, or administrative experience.

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or transportation scheduling.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of hands, arms, and standard office equipment.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment.

  • Visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse setting and regularly utilizes office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing systems. The role requires frequent interaction with warehouse personnel, customers, and transportation providers.



Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
