DIRECT HIRE - 2ND SHIFT CNC LATHE MACHINIST - WARREN, MI

2nd shift CNC Lathe Machinist (Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am | up to $31/hr plus a 12% shift premium and a $3,000 signing bonus| Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 40(k)

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Metro Detroit area to identify experienced CNC Machinists for a 2nd shift CNC Lathe Machinist. This role supports the production of large, high-precision components for both commercial and military aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathe machines within a machining cell environment

• Run multiple machines simultaneously where applicable

• Machine large parts ranging from approximately 30” to 70” in diameter

• Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operation sheets

• Utilize Fanuc controls and perform offsets as needed

• Load/unload parts and fixtures using hoists and lifting equipment

• Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine

• Set up tooling based on tool sheets and job requirements

• Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

• Maintain tight tolerances in high-precision machining environments

• Support additional production and machining tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)

• Experience machining large parts and working with tight tolerances

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

• Experience with Fanuc controls and machine offsets

• Ability to read and interpret CNC programs at the machine

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and accessing machine platforms

• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
