Our client is a global furniture manufacturer.
Production Process Optimization
- Lead the team to develop, review, and approve production processes for all products prior to mass production.
- Collect feedback from production and continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Work Instruction Development & Training
- Oversee the creation, review, approval, and deployment of critical work instructions.
- Ensure proper training is delivered to relevant teams to guarantee consistent execution.
Cycle Time Standardization & Accuracy
- Manage cycle time studies and establish standard cycle times for each product or product family to support accurate planning and capacity management.
- Process Improvement & CAPEX Evaluation
- Act as a leader or key contributor in process improvement initiatives related to wood, veneer, MDF, glue usage, factory layout, and machinery.
- Review and evaluate CAPEX proposals to support productivity and cost optimization.
Jig & Mold Planning and Control
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure jigs and molds are designed, manufactured, and delivered on time to meet production schedules.
- Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or a related field.
- Lean certification is preferred.
- Language & Computer Skills
- English proficiency at intermediate level or above.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a strong advantage.
- Professional Knowledge
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- At least 10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Core Competencies
- End-to-end furniture production process management (workflow design, line balancing, workstation optimization, etc.).
- In-depth technical knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, including white wood, finishing, and packing.
- Ability to analyze and control product technical packages and resolve production issues on the shop floor.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles.
