Our client is a global furniture manufacturer.

Production Process Optimization

  • Lead the team to develop, review, and approve production processes for all products prior to mass production.
  • Collect feedback from production and continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Work Instruction Development & Training

  • Oversee the creation, review, approval, and deployment of critical work instructions.
  • Ensure proper training is delivered to relevant teams to guarantee consistent execution.

Cycle Time Standardization & Accuracy

  • Manage cycle time studies and establish standard cycle times for each product or product family to support accurate planning and capacity management.
  • Process Improvement & CAPEX Evaluation
  • Act as a leader or key contributor in process improvement initiatives related to wood, veneer, MDF, glue usage, factory layout, and machinery.
  • Review and evaluate CAPEX proposals to support productivity and cost optimization.

Jig & Mold Planning and Control

  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure jigs and molds are designed, manufactured, and delivered on time to meet production schedules.

  • Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or a related field.
  • Lean certification is preferred.
  • Language & Computer Skills
  • English proficiency at intermediate level or above.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a strong advantage.
  • Professional Knowledge
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.
  • Professional Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
  • Core Competencies
  • End-to-end furniture production process management (workflow design, line balancing, workstation optimization, etc.).
  • In-depth technical knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, including white wood, finishing, and packing.
  • Ability to analyze and control product technical packages and resolve production issues on the shop floor.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles.
