Privacy Notice
for LinkedIn Jersey Contest
1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data in connection with this contest is:

2. Purpose of processing
Adecco processes personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
- administering the LinkedIn Jersey Contest (evaluating entries, selecting the winner on the basis of creativity, relevance, and alignment with the contest theme); and
- delivering the prize (one official DECATHLON CMA CGM TEAM cycling jersey) to the selected winner.
No personal data will be collected, processed, or shared for marketing or other purposes unrelated to the contest.
3. Categories of personal data collected
All entrants (non-winning participants): Adecco observes publicly available LinkedIn interactions (likes, follows, comments) solely to identify valid entries. Adecco does not download, store, or create a separate database of non-winning entrants' data beyond what is publicly displayed on LinkedIn.
Winner only: The following data, strictly necessary for prize shipment, will be collected from the winner:
- Full name
- Postal address (street, city, postal code, country)
- Email address
- Phone number (only if required by the courier for delivery purposes)
Tagged colleagues: Where a participant tags a colleague in their entry, Adecco may process that colleague's name solely in the context of evaluating the entry. Participants are required to confirm they have obtained that person's consent to be mentioned.
4. Legal basis for processing

5. Recipients of personal data
The winner's personal data (name, postal address, and, where necessary, phone number) will be shared on a controller-to-controller basis with the courier/shipping provider engaged by Adecco solely for the purpose of delivering the prize, as the courier/shipping provider acts as an independent controller.
Should any personal data be shared with Decathlon Cycling Team (e.g., the winner's name for joint announcement purposes), this will also be on the basis of a controller-to-controller data sharing agreement, as Decathlon Cycling Team acts as an independent controller.
6. Retention period
The winner's personal data will be deleted within 30 days of confirmed prize delivery.
Non-winning entrants' data will not be stored by Adecco beyond what is publicly available on LinkedIn.
Judging records (scoring sheets and related documentation) will be retained for 3 months following the conclusion of the contest for accountability and regulatory compliance purposes, after which they will be securely deleted.
7. Your rights as a data subject
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data Adecco holds about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
- request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17 GDPR);
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR); and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in particular in the EU/EEA Member State of your habitual residence or place of work).

9. Updates to this notice
This notice applies to the LinkedIn Jersey Contest organised by Adecco Group AG in the framework of its collaboration with Decathlon Cycling Team. If the scope or modalities of processing change, this notice will be updated accordingly and made available to participants.
