About The Client

LLR Patient Care Locally (LLRPCL) is a community interest company that provides clinical services within primary care and the local community, serving Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. They identify what patient care needs can be looked after in local primary care environments. In doing so, they relieve pressure on the NHS and help patients to get the care they need quicker.

The Challenge

LLR Patient Care Locally has worked with Adecco Public Sector for over two years. We have sourced a large number of interim and fixed-term appointments during a period of growth, in addition to appointing an independent Chair and providing integral support to the client’s vaccination programme.

The client faced a unique challenge related to their expansion. They needed to upscale quickly, but with few current employees, they did not have the resources to recruit and onboard new additions.

We were asked to assist with helping build a talent pool of candidates for a range of roles, including:

• Programme Lead, Programme Manager and PSO
• Estate Manager
• Finance Manager
• HR Change Consultant
• Operational Team Leader
• Vaccination Programme

Our team were also engaged to assist in bringing in 20 employees to staff a call centre hub on a fixed-term contract. We were also asked to recruit two staff for the position of Non-Executive Director and one Business Development Programme Consultant to support the development of new opportunity bids.

Our Solution

Our team worked closely with the client’s Head of Service, Associate Directors and the Chief Executive to quickly onboard candidates to cover urgent requirements. We applied multiple recruitment methodologies, from contingent, fast-paced interim recruitment to executive search campaigns, to meet the client’s needs.

Our team closely managed all stakeholders, driving an efficient interview process to suit the timescales.

We recruited an Estates Programme Manager to support the establishment of sites for the delivery of diagnostics and patient care, which helped facilitate the growth of the business. We also sourced an Interim Senior Programme Manager to support the organisation in developing bids for new work – the candidate is now the organisation’s go-to interim for ad hoc work, taking on repeat assignments.

Our executive search team also successfully delivered a search campaign to source an independent Chair.

Throughout this project, our team demonstrated the ability to quickly provide a wide range of fully compliant recruitment across finance, estates, PMO and HR. We also worked closely with the wider Adecco team to ensure 15-20 FTC roles were filled at short notice, supporting the vaccination team during an uncertain time.
