Are you an experienced communications professional who can quickly get to the heart of an organisation, shape effective communications strategies and deliver meaningful outcomes?

We are seeking an Interim Communications Manager to provide additional expertise and capacity during a critical period of organisational activity and transformation. Working closely with the Director of Communications & Public Affairs, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of strategic communications projects, driving initiatives from concept through to delivery and evaluation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on communications leader who thrives in complex environments, can build credibility with senior stakeholders quickly and enjoys delivering high-impact work that makes a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of high-profile organisational communications projects and campaigns.


• Design and implement trust-building, engagement and behaviour-change initiatives.


• Support the activation and communication of key organisational priorities and strategic objectives.


• Deliver brand, reputation and stakeholder engagement programmes.


• Take ownership of communications projects from planning and content development through to execution and evaluation.


• Provide strategic communications advice and support to senior leaders and stakeholders.


• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective engagement.

About You

You will be an experienced Senior Communications Manager, Communications Consultant or Communications Lead with a proven track record of delivering impactful communications programmes within complex organisations.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience leading communications projects, campaigns and organisational initiatives.


• Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional delivery capability.


• The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and achieve results at pace.


• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence at senior level.


• Experience across one or more of the following:




• Corporate and organisational communications


• Brand and reputation management


• Integrated communications campaigns


• Employee engagement


• Behaviour change programmes


• Strategy communications and activation

Most importantly, you'll be someone who can quickly get up to speed, identify where communications can add value and take ownership for delivering successful outcomes.
