About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join a busy and friendly operations team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who is proactive, organised, physically fit, and enjoys a varied workload.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the facility, supporting office operations, handling deliveries, assisting with events, and carrying out general facilities duties.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Marketing Support

• Scanning and labelling products for large events.


• Assisting with the setup and take down of event pods.


• Accompanying team members to the warehouse for item collections and deliveries.


• Loading pallets and shrink-wrapping goods.


• Assisting with bi-annual marketing stock counts.


• Supporting ad hoc event and marketing activities as required.

General Facilities & Office Duties

• Opening pallets and unpacking deliveries.


• Breaking down wooden crates and packaging materials.


• Lifting and moving boxes throughout the office.


• Transporting deliveries and pallets within the building.


• Removing pallets from office areas to designated collection points.


• Disposing of rubbish, pallets, and wooden crates safely and efficiently.


• Supporting general housekeeping and maintaining a tidy working environment.


• Assisting with meeting room setups and office moves where required.

About You

• Previous facilities, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, or porter experience would be advantageous.


• Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.


• Flexible approach to work and changing priorities.
