The Role
Sortation Operatives are at the heart of what Amazon does.
Your mission will be to sort customer orders by final destination and consolidate them onto lorries and trucks for last-mile delivery. You’ll be up on your feet moving, sorting and moving between trucks – getting packages where they need to go.

£12.30ph - £13.00ph - Night shift rates:
£14.27ph - £15.08ph - Overtime rates:
£18.45ph - £26.00ph
Tasks & Responsibilities
In this type of role, your tasks will included but are not limited to:
- Unloading, lifting, sorting, products using forklifts, pump, trucks and power pallet trucks
- Scanning, sorting and diverting packages containing the full range of Amazon products

Who is Amazon looking for?
You’ll have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have a true commitment to customer service, and will need to be able to do the following on a daily basis:
- Stand and/or walk for long periods.
- Lift and move products up to 23kg in weight - manual dexterity is required.
- Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch for long periods.
- Push and pull products up to 23kg in weight for long periods.
- Understand training and Health & Safety instructions delivered in English.
