I'm currently partnering with a well-established commercial builder with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across New South Wales. Due to continued growth and a strong secured pipeline, they are looking to appoint both a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to join their Sydney team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced leadership team on a diverse portfolio of projects while enjoying genuine career progression and long-term stability.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, leading teams to successfully deliver complex commercial developments. Projects typically range from $2M–$20M+ and include:

• Commercial
• Education
• Government
• Healthcare
• Industrial
• Refurbishment & Fitout
• Design & Construct (D&C)
• New Build

Working closely with clients, consultants and site teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from commencement through to handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project programming, budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Lead procurement, subcontractor management and contract administration.
• Drive programme outcomes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify and manage project risks while ensuring compliance with WHS and quality management systems.
• Mentor and lead project teams to achieve exceptional project outcomes.
• Ensure all contractual obligations and client expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects within the Australian market including D&C and Fit-out
• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager (Senior Project Manager candidates will demonstrate experience delivering larger, more complex projects).
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasting and project profitability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with D&C delivery and head contract administration.
• Experience using Procore, HammerTech, MS Project and Excel will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to GC21 contracts is advantageous.
