Are you a Contracts Administrator who enjoys fast-paced commercial projects where every build presents a new challenge?

We're working with multiple respected Sydney commercial builders specialising in commercial fit out, refurbishment and Design & Construct projects across workplace, education, hospitality, retail, healthcare and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the successful delivery of projects ranging from $500K to $15M.

The Role

Working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple fit out, refurbishment and Design & Construct projects. You'll be responsible for procurement, cost management and subcontract administration while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, tendering and contract administration across multiple commercial projects.
• Prepare trade packages, scopes of work and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Assess progress claims, manage variations and administer subcontract payments.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting.
• Assist Project Managers with commercial programming and project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Ensure contractual compliance while identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• Minimum 3 years' Contracts Administration experience within the Australian commercial construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial fit out, refurbishment and/or Design & Construct projects.
• Exposure to projects ranging from $500K to $15M.
• Strong understanding of procurement, cost control, subcontract management and contract administration.
• Excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Procore, Hammertech or similar software experience
