IT Procurement Specialist (Software, SaaS & Cloud Services)

About the Role:
For a newly established Shared Service Center, we are seeking a detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist.
The role focuses on purchasing software, SaaS solutions, licenses, cloud services, IT support and technology service contracts.
You will work closely with suppliers, IT teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the company receives the best value, quality and service for all IT-related purchases.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the sourcing and purchasing of IT products and services (software, SaaS, cloud, IT maintenance).
• Compare suppliers, request quotes and support RFP/RFQ processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms, subscription models, renewals and service agreements.
• Create and update IT purchase orders and contracts in SAP.
• Ensure all IT purchases follow internal policies and security requirements.
• Track license usage, contract renewals and vendor performance.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and identify potential savings.
• Prepare basic spend reports and price comparisons.
• Work closely with IT, Finance and Legal to understand business needs.
• Support improvements, digital tools and procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT procurement (software, SaaS, cloud or IT services).
• Strong experience with IT contract and SLA negotiations.
• Good understanding of software licensing and IT cost structures.
• Experience working with SAP (POs, PRs).
• Previous experience in an international or SSC environment is required.
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken) B2/C1 as a minimum.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand IT needs and translate them into purchasing requirements.
• Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Organized, proactive and able to work independently.
