Senior MES Engineer (Java)

Adecco's client is FDI manufacturing company in Thang Long Industrial Park 1, Hanoi (Shuttle bus) is looking for Senior MES Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report directly to foreign Manager.
• Partner with architects to design and deliver scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices for high-volume MES applications.
• Develop high-performance backend services (2,000+ TPS), optimize APIs, database performance, and ensure PostgreSQL migration readiness.
• Build event-driven integrations with enterprise systems (SAP, WMS, Opcenter, IIoT) using resilient architecture patterns.
• Drive system reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, load testing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and improve CI/CD quality, reliability, and release processes.
• Contribute to Angular frontend features, technical documentation, benchmarking, and operational best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good command in English
• 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in enterprise Java backend for business-critical systems.
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices/Modular Monolith, with proven experience building high-concurrency, high-performance applications.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL & Progress DB, including SQL tuning, indexing, transactions, concurrency control, and database migration.
• Experience with Kafka/event-driven architecture, security (Authentication/Authorization, JWT), and working knowledge of Angular for feature development.
• Familiar with SDLC, GitLab, Jira, code reviews, production troubleshooting, and collaborating with global engineering teams.
• Nice to have: experience in MES (Siemens Opcenter/Camstar), observability (Prometheus/Grafana), CI/CD, automated testing, high availability, and manufacturing traceability systems.
