Regional Business Development Manager (Packaging)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven APAC Business Development Manager to support the growth of our Packaging business across Asia

Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development across the packaging segment in APAC.
• Expand relationships with manufacturers, global brands, sourcing offices, and supply chain partners.
• Grow sales across diverse packaging categories including tissue, toe stuffing, poly alternatives, specialty papers, and sustainable solutions.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to support a “one-stop-shop” packaging model.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key global accounts and procurement teams.
• Act as the commercial bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and service quality.
• Engage directly with factories to capture sourcing opportunities and drive factory-led initiatives.
• Strengthen collaboration with factory teams to improve supply chain efficiency and consolidate packaging programs.
• Track market trends, pricing, sourcing shifts, and sustainability developments to inform strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support product development, onboarding, and successful execution of new business programs.

Candidate Profile:

• 5–10+ years in packaging with a strong APAC industry network and direct exposure to factories, brands, or sourcing teams.
• Proven business development and account growth track record with strong commercial, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and willing to travel extensively across Asia.
