Our client is an American technology and engineering company in the greenfield segment, specializing in advanced cooling systems and thermal energy management for critical infrastructure. The company designs and manufactures high‑performance heat exchangers as well as custom, scalable cooling systems for industries with exceptionally high energy demand, such as data centers, power generation, renewable energy, and the process industry. It is recognized for innovative thermal solutions for demanding industrial environments, including AI and HPC applications, conventional and renewable energy, as well as geothermal projects and heat‑recovery systems.
Our client is looking for a driven and results-focused Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support the company’s growing global procurement and supply chain activities across North America, Europe, and Asia. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role is essential in shaping sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier relationships, ensuring supply reliability, lowering costs, and supporting rapid growth in manufacturing.
The ideal candidate should be analytical, commercially aware, well-organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing environment with international suppliers.
Profil kandydata:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or a related field is preferred
- 3–7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
- Experience sourcing materials such as metals, fabricated parts, wiring/cable assemblies, electrical systems, electromechanical components or similar
- Solid understanding of global sourcing, international logistics, tariffs, and supplier risk management
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Background
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, thermal systems, data center infrastructure, or engineered products
- Exposure to working with suppliers across Europe, Mexico, and Asia
- Familiarity with supplier development processes and quality management systems
- Professional certifications such as APICS, CPSM, or CPM are an advantage
- Fluency in English is required for candidates based in Poland
Zakres odpowiedzialności:
- Design and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including components, raw materials, and services
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop both local and international suppliers
- Manage RFQ/RFP processes, including bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection
- Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, lead times, minimum order quantities, and long-term supply agreements
- Deliver year-over-year cost reductions, improve working capital, and enhance supply chain performance
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, planning, quality, and manufacturing teams to support production scaling and new product launches
- Track market trends, including commodity pricing, tariffs, logistics risks, geopolitical factors, and global supply conditions
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies such as dual sourcing, supplier diversification, inventory planning, and localization
- Support supplier development initiatives, including capacity planning, production readiness, and continuous improvements
- Maintain accurate sourcing documentation, supplier contracts, and ERP system data
- Perform make-or-buy analyses and total cost of ownership assessments
