Warehouse Employee

Do you enjoy being active and want to work in a warehouse where you and your colleagues ensure that everything leaves the building on time? As a warehouse employee, you are an important link in the logistics process and ensure that orders are carefully picked, checked, and prepared for shipment. You work during the day, leaving your evenings free.

No two days are the same in the warehouse. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that incoming and outgoing goods are processed correctly. Your duties include:

• Collecting and checking orders;
• Carefully packing orders and preparing them for shipment;
• Placing goods in the correct location in the warehouse;
• Checking products for quantities and any damage;
• Keeping the warehouse neat and organized;
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet the daily schedule.

You are constantly on the move throughout the day and regularly stand and walk. Some packages weigh up to 15 kg.

• A gross hourly salary of €15,50 to €16,00;
• Working in day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00;
• A workweek of 32 to 40 hours;
• 25 vacation days and 8,33% holiday allowance;

• A temporary position with the possibility of a longer-term contract based on satisfactory performance.

You will be working for an informal wholesaler and logistics partner that supplies products to the hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors, among others. The organization employs over 50 people. In the warehouse, you will form a close-knit team with approximately 15 colleagues.

The work atmosphere is down-to-earth and collegial. Working together to get the job done is important, and there is also room for socializing. For instance, For instance, the team regularly ends the workweek with Friday afternoon drinks. During busy periods, your help is especially welcome, allowing you to quickly become part of the team.

• You are physically able to stand and walk a lot;
• You can lift packages up to 15 kg;
• You work carefully and accurately and enjoy getting things done;
• You work well with colleagues;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English;
• A forklift or reach truck certificate is a plus;
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
